My Sister's Favorite Food

Ikura.

My Favorite Food

These are California Rolls.  These California rolls do not come from America; they are original.  It's not just the crab meat and the seaweed that's the seafood in there, it's tuna fish too.  The sushi chef who made these rolls is the same guy who took us to the Tsukiji fish market.  He knew that I liked tuna, and so he made these California rolls with tuna in them.  I didn't even have to ask him to do that!

Waiting on the platform

We waited at the platform.  It took a few minutes for our train to come because the other platform's trains kept coming and going.  But at last our train came, and we boarded it for Shibuya Station.

Trains to home

After we got off the plane, we were with people who weren't going to Japan, but soon were in a separate aisle from the people who would go to other countries and continue their flight.  We went down the escalator which led to a sort of airport mall.  In the corner of the plaza there was a ticket booth.  Right out of the plaza, there were suitcase areas where you would get your suitcase back.  We found all three and then we bought a ticket from the ticket booth to ride the airport express train.  So, then we went and rode on the train, and then we rode on two other trains, and walked to my grandparent's house.  In the picture, you can see us paying for our ticket from the ticket booth.

A trip on the plane

The trip on the plane was pretty long and I grew very impatient, but I held it.  So, after 12 hours of flight, we were going through several layers of clouds, and as we went through the last layer of clouds, I started to see the rice farms of Japan.  The plane landed, then taxied down to a stop.

Getting ready on Sunday

We have a lot of packing to do today for our trip tomorrow.  We think we will be leaving at about 3:30 p.m.   The flight I know will only take 12-14 hours, but I know it's not going to take forever, even though it will seem like it.  And once we get there, we'll either ride one train or a different one.  One of the trains will take me to Shibuya, while the other will take me to Ueno Station, where last time we rode on a night train.  Here are some pictures from my last trip.

If you have any questions, please click the comments link and write your questions.   When I get on my blog to look for your questions, I will answer them.  My dad did the typing really, but I was the one who came up with the words.
